Lately the nearshore bite has been all about the hogfish. We are seeing some nice hogfish and good numbers in the near shore waters around 30 to 70 feet of water.

Gag grouper have really moved into the near shore waters or catching a lot of gags on our private fishing charters while trolling. We’re also catching some nice gags on our 10 hour all day trips using live pin fish or whole threadfin.

Mangrove snapper fishing has been hot, and the overcast stormy weather actually helps with this providing us more opportunities on the mangroves.
