General Pleasure Cruise Information
Here at Hubbard’s Marina, we do more than just fishing. In fact, we have an entire department just for pleasure cruise trips! From Dolphin watching, to island adventures, Hubbards Marina can get you on the water for a great day!
Dolphin watching and eco tour
This trip runs daily from our main dock inside Johns pass from Hubbard’s marina. This is an hour-and-a-half cruise that is fully narrated with guaranteed dolphin sightings. While out on the water with us we also show you bird nesting islands, million-dollar homes, and a commercial fishing village. It’s a great little cruise that’s very relaxing and allows you to explore where we call home.
Egmont Key Ferry
The Boat departs from the Fort De Soto boat ramp out to Egmont key daily during peak season. It doesn’t leave from or go back to Hubbard’s Marina in anyway. This is the ONLY trip we offer that doesn’t run from our main dock inside Johns pass. This ferry ride to the island leaves at either 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM DAILY. While on the island, we offer snorkeling on the sunken ruins. The snorkeling is an additional $40 to rent snorkel gear.
Shell Key Ferry
This trip is one of a kind… If you want to travel to an uninhabited barrier island with white sand, warm water, and shells galore, our ferry to Shell Key from the Fort De Soto boat ramp is a great choice for you and your family! Our ferry boat operates daily in the spring and summer and nearly every day in the fall and winter. The ride to the island is about twenty minutes and offers great chances to spot dolphins, sea turtles, and even manatees! We also often spot sea birds on the ride to and from Shell Key aboard the green ferry boat.
Sunset Cruise
The sunset cruise is an hour-and-a-half cruise that offers FREE beer and wine! We don’t guarantee dolphin sightings on this cruise, but we see them most of the time. We do however guarantee a beautiful view of the sunset with free beer and wine the entire cruise!
3 hr shell Key Trip
Our 3hr Shell Key Shelling Trip is offered from our Main location inside Johns Pass and offers around one hour on the island exploring and shelling with around an hour ride down the back protected bay waters on a relaxing, safe, and fun trip. We will often spot dolphins, seabirds, manatees and other wildlife on the ride out and back!
*During slower season: (September through February) we will not offer the 10am ferry boat departure, plus we will cut down on days schedule for example we typically won’t offer Monday and sometimes even Tuesday trips . Reservations also become more important for all our trips during slower season.
